RBS Businesses

The services we offer our customers.

Williams & Glyn

In 2013 RBS agreed a £600m pre-IPO investment in our Williams & Glyn business with a consortium of investors led by global financial services specialists Corsair Capital and Centerbridge Partners. This followed a 2009 government ruling for RBS to divest some of its branches to open up more competition in high-street banking. When it launches in 2017, William’s & Glyn will consist of 308 former RBS branches in England and Wales and six former NatWest branches in Scotland. It will serve over 1.7 million personal, SME and mid-corporate customers.

Personal and Business Banking

Through NatWest, RBS, and Ulster Bank we help 16 million people manage their personal and business lives, with a full range of financial services and advice.
